My semester is going to end soon and I'm busy trying to finish up any work, I'd missed so far. But, so far I'm not in the deep end..yet. Anyways, I'd been thinking lately....about OC contest's and still I had'nt got my Mojo back into..like I don't enjoy them as much as I used to. *rubs head* Yeah, sounds gay but it's true. Part of me, screams exhaustion while another wants me to get my ass in gear. I dunno, but I personally, don't find it much fun anymore, so I tend to slack off rather quickly which I had been doing the last few weeks. >.> That and busy, catching up with schoolwork. So, can you guys give me some artist advice. I do miss drawing my oc's and fighting but in OC battles, I don't feel much fun as I used to. I'm feeling off and it would be great, if you guys could help a sad rabbit before summer starts. TT____TT
If, I do decide not to join ; I'm going to adjust my OC's profiles up so far and become there own profiles instead and send any related works to the scarps..but I'll post what I have up so far in my entry. So, you guys could see what I had going on... XP Also, I'll just speand the summer drawing some real works of my oc's instead. So, what do you guys think?
I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling a off on drawing.
One thing I sometimes like to do to help me get creative is I'll look around at OCTs and play around with making a character for them. I won't try to enter and I'll only make an OC but I like to think it helps me think of ideas. Plus I don't have the stress of making an audition when I do that.
Another idea might be to read a book (obviously when school is done). Something that you want to read or something that's been on your "I'll get around to it" list. You might find something that interests your imagination.

This is the grandaddy of all OCTs or comic fighting, ever. You got the best of the best here.
I also suggest that you work on your own comics--that's what I've been doing recently. It's refreshing to work on your own story and not just have to crank out bare-minimum work for a small storyframe.
There's also my OCT. It's awesome. It's the Jesus of OCTS.
So, you mean mess around intresting OCT's is to make a charater but nit an audtion? Yeah, I'm quitting the real, it's fun but it's kind had too many rules in a way and I get my head confused at this point.

More or less. Sort of like you're thinking, "If I were to enter this, I would make this character....." Just something to get the creative juices going again.

For me, I found that I was too often trying to get done before anyone else, which would leave me pretty burn't out before I could finish my entry.
Now I pace myself, I only do so much in a day then stop, if I plan accordingly how long my entry will be, and plot out how much work I get done everyday, I should have time left over (depending of course, how long each round is).
Not sure if that helps, but it's just something I've learned over the past year.
